RE-OPENING GUIDELINES
Purpose:
The purpose of these guidelines is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
for worship services and activities. These guidelines are subject to change at
the authority of the pastor.
I.
Sanitize
Committee
a. Members will wear
gloves, masks, and gowns @ all times
b. Report Saturday
evening to sanitize the entire church
c. Turn on Fans to run
all night
d. Filter change every
two weeks
e. Closing off parts of
church that will not be in use
f. Mark pews 6ft. apart
g. Know maximum number of
people you can bring in
II.
Entering the Church
a. Open church doors 30 minutes prior to
service
b. Usher on outside to remind people to
stay 6ft. apart. As people enter church usher will ensure their hands are
sanitized
c. As people enter, they do not touch
the door
III.
Sanitizing Process in Vestibule
a. Processing table w/mask, and hand
sanitizer
b. People must wear masks.
c. Everyone has to have hands sanitized
d. Ask people if they have a cough or
fever
e. If a person has a cough or fever politely (exception a known health condition not related to virus) explain to them they cannot enter sanctuary. Thank them for coming & ask then to return when they are well
IV.
Entering Sanctuary
a. Ushers ensure people are placed 6ft.

b. Family can stay together
c. No congregational singing
d. No shaking of hands
e. No hugging
f.
No
elbow bumping
V.
Service
a. No Sunday School until further notice
( Virtual Only)
b. Should be as brief as possible (Not
over an hour)
c. Tithes dropped in box as you enter
church
d. No choir singing until further notice
e. Praise Team do not share mics
f.
Praise
Team should sing no longer 10 minutes
g. Announcements giving by pastor
h. Praise Team should be 6ft apart
i.
Pastor
exit after benediction
j.
Congregation
exit immediately after benediction
k. Once outside church recommendation is
to enter your vehicle and leave premise
l.
If
you do talk to someone outside church, please follow the 6ft rule
m. Only use bathrooms in the rear of church
n. Communion will be picked up as you
enter the church
o. A basket will be placed @ each pew
for you to place your used Communion package in
NOTE: IF
YOU HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO SOMEONE WITH COVID-19; PLEASE DO NOT COME TO CHURCH
UNTIL YOU ARE TESTED & HAVE QUARANTINE FOR FOURTEEN (14) DAYS.
